Eric Lynn Wright, best known as Eazy-E and sometimes referred to as “The Godfather of Gangsta Rap”, is an American hip hop recording artist. He gained prominence performing with N.W.A., after the band landed a deal with Ruthless Records and released its debut album, entitled N.W.A and the Posse. In the 1990s, when N.W.A disbanded due to the inside conflicts, Eazy-E continued his career as a solo artists. Before his death in 1995 Eric released three solo albums: Eazy-Duz-It, 5150 Home 4 tha Sick and It’s On (Dr. Dre) 187um Killa. Eric was born in California, in family of Kathie and Richard Wright. His family sheltered in one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in Los Angeles, in a district marked by an intensive activity of criminal gangs. Spending most of his days hanging in the streets instead of sitting in the class, Eazy-E was kicked out of high school before finishing the 10th grade. The album peaked at No. 37 on Billboard Top LPs and eventually distributed some 3 million units, adding a solid sum to Eazy E net worth.
